THE REGENCY 1.0

OUR HISTORY

In 1982, in a nearly dese
rted downtown Springfield, concert promoter, Gary L. Thomas, uncovered a diamond in the rough
when he chose 307 Park Central East [PCE] as the home of Springfield’s first full-fledged concert venue, The Regency Showcase.

During his tenure as The Don of Downtown Entertainment, Thomas definitely brought it. From Marilyn Manson, 2 Live Crew and Blind Melon,
to Collective Soul, Veruca Salt, Jewel and hundreds more, Thomas brought in national acts to the sweet tune of 200+ shows a year.

The history of 307 PCE is legendary. Home to The Regency for 16 years, Icon for 9 years and Instinct for 3 years,
307 PCE boasts the title as Springfield’s longest running, entertainment venue.
